Phoenix Gallery online features the handmade works of local, regional & national artisans. We offer a wide range of items; from rustic to modern and functional to decorative. We have created this collection to bring a handmade quality to your everyday life. Phoenix Gallery is located in historic downtown Lawrence and represents the work of over 150 artists. Our goal is to provide local artisans with a venue to showcase their work as well as bringing regional and national artists to Lawrence. We specialize in functional pottery, blown glass and wood work but our selection consists of much more; including jewelry, clothing & accessories, leather work, metal and textiles. All pieces are handmade by artisans and offer an alternative to mass produced everyday items. We have pieces for every room in your home; cookware for the kitchen, custom dinner place setting for the dining table, the perfect vase for your mantel, garden items, desk accessories, wood rattles for the newborn and everything in between. The gallery has evolved over the 15 years it has been in business, beginning as a small gallery cooperative in 1990. The gallery is now family owned in its current location at 919 Massachusetts Street in downtown Lawrence, Kansas.
